Jaina spent most of her childhood under the guidance of her parents and Winter, as well as that of her uncle and various tutor droids, alongside her two brothers. Although Han and Leia tried their best to keep the three Solo children safe, various kidnappings still occurred, quite often. That, in combination with the various mischief JAINA, JACEN, AND ANAKIN would find themselves in frequently, made turbulent situations nothing new to the young girl when the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy. At age fourteen, Jaina and Jacen left Coruscant to train at their Uncle Luke Skywalker's JEDI ACADEMY. Alongside her brother and friends Lowie and Tenel Ka, she was forced to face the Shadow Academy's band of dark Jedi - led in partially by her dear childhood friend ZEKK. Jaina was lucky - all of them survived the conflict with little to no harm, and she was able to bring Zekk back to the light side of the Force. Many more adventures then pursued, with Zekk now alongside her. Around age sixteen, Jaina graduated and apprenticed to her aunt, Mara Jade. Her apprenticeship didn't last very long - with the arrival of the Vong, Jaina's piloting skills earned her a position with the legendary ROGUE SQUADRON as Rogue Eleven, nicknamed Sticks. She flew with the famous group until political tension between the New Republic and the Jedi forced her to go on permanent leave. Not too long after, she accompanied the MISSION TO MYRKR - led by her brother Anakin - and was reunited with Zekk and some of her other friends from the Academy. Sadly, while the mission to destroy the Voxyn queen was a success, too many lives were lost, including her little brother's. Between that and the kidnapping (supposed death) of her twin, Jaina floundered with the dark side for a while, severely damaging her friendship with Zekk. She and the survivors fled to Hapes in the stolen Yuuzhan Vong craft, which she renamed The Trickster, and Jaina apprenticed herself to Kyp Durron. She also formed a romantic relationship with fellow pilot JAGGED FEL of the Chiss, which lasted to the end of the war. Jaina continued to serve as an accomplished Jedi and pilot through out the remainder of the conflict. Playing on the Yuuzhan Vong's high reverence for their deities and twins, Jaina took on the role of their TRICKSTER GODDESS, Yun Harla, and became the leader of the Twin Suns squadron. The young Jedi girl played a substantial role in the coming battles, including those at Borleias, Obroa-skai and Ebaq 9, where she helped to defeat the Vong Warmaster. Jaina also played a substantial role in the final battle for Coruscant. She survived, achieving the rank of a LIEUTENANT COLONEL in the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances navy and a full Jedi Knight.
When Zekk was around the age of eleven, he befriended the most unlikely of people: Chief of State Leia Organa Solo's nine year old twins, Jaina and Jacen. Although the circumstances of their meeting are unknown, they quickly became the best of friends, especially Jaina and Zekk. When Zekk was round the age of 17, the Second Imperium founded a SHADOW ACADEMY, where Brakiss trained Force strong youths to become Dark Jedi. Zekk was recruited and agreed, wanting to be able to prove himself to the galaxy. He quickly became Brakiss's favorite pupil and DARKEST KNIGHT. He led the Shadow Academy on a raid of Kashyyyk to obtain ship parts, and then against the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4. There, he faced off with Jaina in a lightsaber duel, trying to prevent the wounded Jedi from entering the temple, which was set to below. She refused to kill her best friend despite his attempts to kill her, and brought him back to the light side. Zekk's refusal to let anyone into the temple saved many more lives. Despite Jaina's (and everyone else's) persistence that he should stay at the academy and train to be a Jedi, Zekk couldn't stay on Yavin 4 any longer than necessary, and left. He decided to go into the BOUNTY HUNTER profession, figuring his skills would be able to bring him good bounties. Eventually, they defeated the Diversity Alliance and destroyed the Emperor's Plague. Finally, Zekk felt ready to begin training as a Jedi.
So, Zekk joined the Jedi Academy and became one of the New Republic's guardians.. Zekk also joined in the fight against the Yuuzhan Vong, although he specifically wasn't heard from again until Anakin's strike team MISSION TO MYRKR. Sadly, he lost many friends during this fight, and became estranged from Jaina in subsequent events, unable to deal with his friend falling to the dark side of the Force. During the final parts of the battle with the Vong, Zekk was bonded to a seed-partner and provided a SEKOTAN STARSHIP. Aside from being one of the few Jedi to survive the conflict, little else is known on Zekk's current activity in the GFFA.
